From Concept to Creation

Good work takes time. Lead time varies per project and production schedule. Be prepared to go through the following steps as we embark upon the design process.

  • Exchange of ideas: Typically we can work up an estimate based on your approx dimensions, inspiration photos, drawings and doodles. We don’t usually do site visits before we are contracted.

  • Concept agreement/Proposal/Estimate: We will propose the scope of work, and what the cost will be.

  • Contract/Deposit/Drawings: Once the proposal and estimate is approved, we will send an invoice for a deposit. We begin drawings once we have procured a deposit. Drawings can take up to 7 to 10 business days.

  • Drawing Approval/Final Date Set/Fabrication: The client is permitted to make (within reason) revisions as needed to the drawing. Ultimately, the final date set for project end depends on all approvals.

  • Balance Due: E. Kraemer, LLC requires balance paid upon delivery unless otherwise noted. Any other terms must be agreed upon by both parties and noted on invoice.

  • Delivery/Installation is the responsibility of the buyer, unless otherwise noted. Any other terms must be agreed upon by both parties and noted on invoice.

We will keep you informed of the progression of your custom piece, and send you photos of your new piece during various stages of completion.

Most pieces take roughly 6 to 12 weeks after the final design has been approved. If there is a crucial deadline, please let us know as soon as possible so we can try to make the necessary arrangements.
